2 Corinthians 12:9

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Until I, Deborah Arise as a Mother in Israel!

Judges 5:7-11

Israel was under great bondage during the period of the judges. There was a repetitive behavioral pattern by the children of Israel, they would sin and cry out to God and our merciful Father would always respond to the cry of his people and come to their rescue. During this season of tyranny in the life of Israel, they were at a great disadvantage as the enemy had plundered them to the point where the scriptures said there was no warriors left in Israel, neither was there any offensive or defensive weapons of war. Judges 5:8) For the inhabitants had ceased…. Israel was vulnerable to the enemies which were encamped round about them. They abandoned their main roads and sought after tracks and back roads as hiding passages. Every man did what was right in his own eyes and as a result, the Lord sold them into the hands of Jabin, King of Canaan (Jud 4:13).

During this time of depravity, the threat of war came from the camp of the enemy. There was the threat of war but the inhabitants, meaning the warriors of Israel, ceased, they stopped, they were dormant, until Deborah arose. God has a Deborah for the moment. Deborah the Prophetess served as a Judge in Israel and as a vessel unto the Lord. She was under the palm tree in the secret place of the Most High, getting ready for this moment.

When Deborah heard the threat of King Jabin the Canaanite, and that the war was now at the gate, Deborah was moved out of her place under the palm tree. She moved from Judge in Israel to Prophetess and Warrior. Deborah said, the warriors of Zion ceased until I, Deborah arose, I arose as a mother in Israel. (Jud. 5:7)

When a Mother gets up, things change, there is something about when children are threatened. Deborah called out Barak, Barak was in a place of holiness and sanctification but it was not time for meditation, it was a time for war. Deborah said to Barak, march to Mount Tabor and I will draw out Sisera with his army to meet you at the River Kishon and I will turn him over into your hand. Deborah said . ‘Arise Barak this is the day that the Lord has given Sisera into your hand. Has the Lord not gone before you’. The Deborah anointing is being released upon a great company of women who carry the warrior anointing.

A call has gone up for Deborah to arise, as a mother in the house of God. Arise Deborah, God has given you power to lead out the enemy. For the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hand of a woman. Just as Deborah arose and went to war with Barak, rise up Deborah! As a mother in Israel has He called you, to destroy the works of the enemy. Has He not called you?

The warriors in Zion are silent…they ceased in Israel until I, Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel. Rise up, ye women that are at ease , hear my voice and be troubled, give ear to my speech (Isah. 32:9)

Come forth Deborahs in Zion, move out of your place of complacency under the palm tree, call out the Baraks in the house, there is a war cry. Mama can’t sit now, Deborah Arise!
